The Kaaba, ancient home of Triple Goddess Al’Lat

The Kaaba in Mecca was originally a monument for Allat “The 39e0ba37a0399db031c33ac8128dc1e4Goddess”

Written in the Book of Idols (Kitāb al-ʾAṣnām) by Hishām ibn al-Kalbi, the pre-Islamic Arabs worshipped Al-lāt who resided in the Kaʿbah and also had an idol inside the sanctuary. Al-Kalbi was an Islamic scholar who lived from 737AD – 819AD and wrote many works including the genealogies linking Mohammed to Ishmael.

The story goes that there were 360 other deities surrounding the Kaaba of which Mohammed destroyed while decrying them as false gods. Allat was among those denounced as a false goddess while Allah was pronounced the one and only true God. Allat literally translates to Goddess while Allah translates to the masculine God.

Today worshippers visit the Kaaba and waft, kiss, pray and touch the Black Stone which is encased in a silver oval shape that is thought to be the Yoni of Allat or that of the Tripple Goddesses which includes Menat and al-Uzza.
